Bernard Onyango is a Software Engineer and Frontend Team Lead at Reveloop, with more than five years of experience building software and business systems. His background in software engineering, system design, and business process management has shaped the way he approaches technology: understanding the problem first, then building solutions that are practical, useful, and built to last.

His work spans frontend engineering, software development, and system design. He enjoys working across the different parts of a system, from understanding how a business process works to designing and building the technology that supports it. This allows him to think beyond individual features and consider how the pieces of a system fit together and how they can work better for the people using them.

Bernard is also a Certified AI Automation Professional and has an interest in finding practical ways to use AI and automation in everyday business processes. His focus is less on the technology for its own sake and more on where it can remove unnecessary work, improve how processes are handled, and make systems more useful.

Outside his professional work, Bernard is building an embedded post-harvest monitoring system that combines sensors and machine learning to identify conditions associated with produce spoilage and support earlier intervention. The project is motivated by a broader interest in using technology to address practical challenges faced by African communities and reduce post-harvest losses for farmers.
